1. I CELEBRATE MYSELF, I CELEBRATE YOU.
I am the poet of the body and the soul,
And I am the poet of the soul and body.
I celebrate myself, I celebrate you.
2. I celebrate my voice, the smoke of my own breath.
You shan't look through my eyes either nor take thing
from me,
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from
yourself.
I celebrate my voice, the smoke of my own breath.
1. Oh fireflies come on, fly, and invite me to the stream,
My hometown, backyard of mountains, river, and the
fields.
Insects stop our rainy season, so moon and stars stop
shining all!
Luh lun lu lun luh lun lu lun, luh lun lu lun lun luhn...
2. Are you a single and lonely, too? Who do you call upon?
"My darling, hey, look at me!" you fly and
shine, don't you?
Nostalgic light, light, rest, and light from the genuine
tender dark!
Luh lun lu lun luh lun lu lun, luh lun lu lun lun luhn...
3. Your light is like life of a man too short to do something.
Light, light, rest, and light once a year, you fly,
rest, shine, and leave.
Encouraging light, rest, and light, fireflies play
together all!
Luh lun lu lun luh lun lu lun, luh lun lu lun lun luhn...
4. Although humans fight, fight, rest, and fight, fight, rest, and
fight all,
Fireflies laugh, light, rest, and light from the dark
heaven.
The little lights of fireflies immortally survive all!
Luh lun lu lun luh lun lu lun, luh lun lu lun lun luhn...
